  • What size coldrooms are available?

    Our smallest coldroom is 1350mm x 1350mm external dimensions


    Our biggest coldroom is as large as you need it to be, including full warehouse fit out. 


    With a custom 3D drawing package we are able to tailor a coldroom to fit your space perfectly.

  • What is the warranty available?

    12 months parts and labour, extended warranty available on request and chargeable. 

  • Can you deliver Cold Rooms Quickly?

    Yes , we are generally able to dispatch within 24 hours .  So if you have an emergency requirement we can help. 

  • What is the power requirement?

    This depends entirely on the size of coldroom supplied. We supply single phase or three phase refrigerated units depending on power availability. We employ a  fully qualified 18th Edition electrician to connect up to your power supply.

  • I only have outside space for a cold room. Is this an issue?

    Absolutely not. We provide full weatherproofing to enable this to happen but we do require a level base to build the coldroom on.



  • Are rooms lockable?


    Yes. All Coldrooms are supplied with a key to maximise security. The coldrooms are anti trap which means if you accidentally get locked inside, you can still exit the coldroom.



  • Where are you located?

    Our head office and warehouse is in North East Hampshire, not too far from London. We have regional offices in the North East, Midlands and South East.

  • Who are Misa? I have never heard of them.

    Misa coldrooms have been in manufacture since 1969. Misa is now part of the Italian Epta group with global offices across all seven continents. The Misa product is used and trusted the world over. 

  • A coldroom is a large investment. Can I spread the cost like I do with my car?

    Absolutely. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct authority which allows us to introduce you to a range of funders to enable you to spread the cost over  36 or 60 months, subject to credit approval. This will help save your capital and can be tax efficient 

  • I want to replace my old chest freezers in my shop with a bright, modern Point of Sale display unit

    You have come to the right place. Up and down the country we are seeing customers wanting to remove inefficient chest freezers and replace with brightly lit shelves where customers can clearly see the product and are able help themselves.  The feedback we receive is: Utility costs go down, sales go up, improved health and safety for clients and staff as no need to bend down into the chest freezer to select product, no more regular defrosting of the chest freezer and its associated mess

  • I want to install the room myself. Is this ok?

    For our trade clients, we are more than happy for you to fit the coldroom yourself. Instructions will be provided



  • Can I get credit facilities from you?


    The first order you place with us will be on a proforma basis. For subsequent orders and subject to satisfactory credit checks, the answer is yes.



  • Who do you sell to?


    We sell to private sector, business sector, public sector, trade sector

     

  • I want to be able to drive a forklift into our new cold room warehouse

    No problem , providing the coldroom is large enough and the correct floor has been specified at the design stage.

    For ease of access/improved operational ability we can provide rapid rise doors to your coldroom including sensors so the driver is not required to dismount the forklift to open the door. 

    Barrier protection can be provided to help protect the coldroom from unintentional damage.


  • Do you offer a free site survey?

    Yes we do. It is very important we see the proposed installation site to ensure the coldroom will fit in the space that has been allocated. 




  • Do you provide shelving?

    We offer a 4 tier nylon shelving system at an additional cost, this can be configured to suit the room size and layout

  • What is the lead time?

    We operate  a 10,000 sq ft warehouse crammed full of stock for immediate dispatch of our standard size coldrooms and refrigeration units.  (Download brochure here).

    For larger or bespoke style coldrooms , please contact us to get an more accurate anticipated lead time. 




  • What height are the coldrooms?

    Chillers 2350mm

    Freezers 2430mm

    Lower height coldooms are available as a special order

    For large warehouse installations, the highest panel available is 12 metres 


  • Can I see a Misa coldroom in action?

    Yes of course. We would be delighted to show you a Misa coldoom in action at one of our many happy customers throughout the UK.

  • Can I make my coldoom bigger if my business grows and I need more coldroom space?


    Yes you can…. Providing you have the space for the increase in coldroom. As the coldrooms are ‘flatpack’ design, we can simply add the extra panels to make the coldroom bigger to meet your needs. Please note, extra refrigeration may be required to cope with the increased size of coldroom


  • I need to maintain a specific humidity in the coldroom. Can this be done?

    Yes of course. We work with specialist suppliers to enable us to obtain the desired humidity within the coldroom

  • Can I collect a coldroom from your warehouse?


    Yes. The coldroom will be wrapped with heat shrunk plastic and will be lifted onto your vehicle with a forklift

  • Do you accept credit cards?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. 

  • Do you provide off site cold storage?

    We are sorry that we are unable to provide cold storage for your products
